Runway Manila Now Connects Travelers to Belmont Hotel and Newport City

Getting to Belmont Hotel from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 has never been easier. Thanks to the launch of Runway Manila, guests can now walk from the hotel to the airport within as little as ten minutes.



Runway Manila is a 220-meter elevated bridge situated on Andrews Avenue. It’s an enclosed, air-conditioned walkway equipped with moving walkalators and elevators, allowing travelers to move easily between NAIA Terminal 3 to the nearby Newport City and their booked hotels. There are also golf carts available for use by pregnant women and senior citizens.

Connections to Belmont Hotel and Newport City

Starting from the airport’s second level, travelers get their first glimpse of the country through the elevated walkway’s windows. The clean, spotless halls from the airport terminal lead to artistic LED-lit ceilings and the glass-walled façade of Newport City’s access point.

A short walk takes them down an elevator beside the Belmont Hotel in Pasay, where they can take a break in the hotel’s cafe before checking in or proceeding to their chosen destinations.



From here, places like Resorts World, Newport Mall, and the House Manila Bar are accessible within walking distance. Business travelers can also reach places like Makati and Bonifacio Global City by cab, as both are located 7.1 kilometers away from Belmont Hotel.

About the Project

The 1.5-billion PHP bridge is a project of Alliance Global Group Inc., in partnership with the Department of Public Works and Highways. Runway Manila is capable of accommodating up to 2,000 persons at any time, or up to 216,000 persons per day. Its aim is to reduce the commuting time of travelers coming to and from NAIA.

The DPWH formally opened Runway Manila to the public last April 22, 2017, four months after its groundbreaking in December 2016. It’s also100% Filipino-designed and constructed, based on the plans of architects Juan Seriña Jr. and Raymond Hernandez.
